Percy Wilfred Hudson Born April 13, 1922 - September 10, 2014 It is with profound sadness the family of Percy Wilfred Hudson, 92 of Parkers Cove, N.S. announce his passing, at Mountain Lea Lodge, in Bridgetown Nova Scotia. Percy was a wonderful husband, an adored father, grandfather and great grandfather. His greatest joy in life was being surrounded by his large family. He was a hard working woodsman and fisherman who loved the sea. Later in life worked for D.N.R at the Upper Clements Wildlife Park before his retirement. Percy always had a great sense of humor and liked to put a smile on your face, tease the kids, and always made sure your belly was full. This kind, generous caring soul will be forever remembered for putting his families needs above his own. Percy is survived by his wife of 71 years, Chestina (Gregory); daughters, Carolyn (Donny) Wamboldt, Middleton, Judy Chute (Walter), Granville Ferry, Sharon (Douglas) Wade, Granville Ferry, Darlene (Paul) Smith, Young's Cove, Shelly Hudson (Troy), Lequille; brother, Leroy (Marge), Parker's Cove; sister, Hazel (Bill) Nordick, Kitchener; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Annie; sons, Henry and Ricky; sister, Ethel (Gordon) Covert; brothers, Raymond (Mona), Delma (Vivian), William, Deward (June); mother-in-law, Madonna Gregory; brother-in-law, Merlin (Barbara) Gregory. A private family funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal with Scotty McGilchrist officiating. Burial will be at a later date In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake Brook Cemetery; Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
