Difford, Albert Charles, 72 of Middleton passed away January 5, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was a son of the late Giles and Geraldine (Halliday) Difford. Albert was a scallop fisherman for many years. He is survived by sons, Darren (Eva) of Round Hill; step-sons, Daniel (Sheila) Foley of Middleton, Aaron Foley of Victoria Beach; daughters, Pamela (Chris) Rafuse of Lawrencetown, Sheryn Difford of Deep Brook, Charli Difford of Lawrencetown; step daughter, Bridget Bezanson of Round Hill; sisters, Joyce (Joe) Boudreau of Annapolis Royal, Christina (Michael) Gillis of West Dalhousie, Norma (Dave) Taylor of Bridgetown, Thelma (Carl) Lewis of Parkers Cove, Linda (Murray) Gillis of Bridgetown, Carolyn (Wade) Taylor of Bridgetown, Violet (Emmett) Amero of Hillsburn; brother, Eric (Shirley) Difford; 31 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie; brothers, Arthur and Basil; sisters, Jeanette Wiles, Phyllis Mailman and Grace Hatt. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., January 12, 2015 in the World Mission Center, Paradise with Pastor Stephen Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Port Wade Cemetery.
