Wyatt, Frederick Walter – 71, Lequille, Annapolis County. It is with heavy sadden hearts that we announce Fred’s passing on January 16, 2015, in Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in Halifax on January 13, 1944, he was a son of the late Elsie (Lusher) and William Wyatt. Fred spent 34 ½ years with the Canadian Armed Forces as a cook where some of this time was served overseas. He loved life and enjoyed time spent with his family. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf Fan. Fred is survived by his wife of 49 ½ years, Gisela (Wagener); sons, Andy (Rachel), London Ontario and Bill (Lisa), Digby; daughters, Debbie (Neville) Magarvey, Parkers Cove and Crystal (Hugh) Jackson, Kingston Ontario; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Bill (Marlene), New Brunswick. He is predeceased by his granddaughter, Miah Faye Magarvey; sister, Joan and brother, Earl. Following Fred’s wishes his body has been donated to Medical Science, Dalhousie University, Halifax. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 21, 2015, in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal, with Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. Donations made in Fred’s memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ken Buchholz and the nursing staff at Annapolis Community Health Centre for the excellent care given to our father.
