Obituary of Siegfried Ludwig Mueller

Mueller, Siegfried Ludwig, 79 of Port Wade, Annapolis County. Our most beloved Siegfried Ludwig Mueller, born June 18, 1935 in Weil on the Rhine, Germany, husband, father, grandfather (Opa), great grandpa and uncle and dearest friend has quickly, suddenly passed away June 14, 2015 at home. Siegfried was predeceased by his parents Ludwig and Paula Mueller; his siblings Elfriede and Imelda; daughter, Susanne. He is survived by his loving wife Doris of 54 years; daughters, Sabine and son-in-law, Joerg; Sigrid and son-in-law, David; grandchildren, Sebastian and Lise, Maximilian, Christian and Janice; great grandchildren, Lia, Arvid-Ludwig and Karl-Emil. Siegfried worked over 25 years as a civil engineer of the German Railroad (DB), they bought a 20,000 acre cattle ranch in BC’s interior near Fraser Lake (Endako). He also worked in the local “West Fraser” sawmill. Retiring in 1993 to Parksville, Vancouver Island, BC. In 2008, they moved to beautiful Port Wade in the Annapolis Valley. He was a devoted member of Knights of Columbus, Roman Catholic Church, avid singer (his voice will carry on), gardener, nature lover, traveler, story teller and community leader. A compassionate, generous, kind and loving soul. Siegfried will be dearly missed by many from close to heart and far away. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made at St. Louis Catholic Church, Annapolis Royal or Botanical Gardens of Annapolis Royal. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday June 26, 2015 in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal where the Knights of Columbus will hold their service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 in St. Louis Catholic Church, Annapolis Royal with Father Joseph Thomas officiating.
