.Woodland, Marion Isabel – 101, of Upper Clements, Annapolis County, passed away November 16, 2015, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Upper Clements, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Minnie (Howe) Purdy. She worked hard on the family farm; had a sweet and kind nature, was a good neighbor and friend, a great cook, enjoyed reading and crocheting. Loved cats and dogs. Marion is survived by sons, Richard (Sheila) Woodland, Allains River; Donald (Nan Sue), Forest, Ontario; daughter, Victoria Martyn, Upper Clements; daughter-in-law, Joan Woodland, Kentville; 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, Charles Ernest Woodland; sons, Stanley and Ronald. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Friday, November, 20, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday November 21, in St. Edwards Anglican Church, Clementsport, with Rev. Gordon Neish officiating. Burial will follow in Old St. Edwards Anglican Cemetery.
